But face value isn’t always the cheapest option. Sometimes, especially when an event isn’t selling particularly well (like late preseason NFL games), the secondary market will adjust to reflect the market value of a ticket. But with the addition of a service fee and a facility charge, the $25 ticket ends up costing fans more than $40 per ticket.
